For individuals looking for an alternative route to a computer programming education, or career switchers interested in breaking into the tech industry, coding bootcamps can be a great option. 13 coding bootcamp scholarships have been specially created for LGBTQ+ people seeking to learn how to code ranging from half-off awards to full ride scholarships.

about (13) Coding Bootcamp Scholarships for LGBTQ+
ONE application applies to ALL available scholarships currently available through 10,000 Degrees based on your eligibility, with a few being LGBTQ focused. Awards are based on: Financial need and demonstrated perseverance and motivation to attend and complete post-secondary school.
A majority are available to students from the Bay Area regions: Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Napa counties.
**Opens every year October 15th and the priority deadline for submission is March 2nd of the following year.
Applicants must identify as Black Womxn, must be 18+, must be a California resident, and must be actively enrolled as a full-time or part-time student during the award period. We encourage women from all age demographics , gender expressions, sexual orientations, national origins, abilities, intellectual and developmental stages, and religions to apply.
The 2022 scholarship cycle opens October 15, 2022
Scholarships typically range from $1,000 to $4,000 and are available to LGBT students, allies or children of LGBT parents who have permanent residence in downstate Illinois (all Illinois counties except Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will) and attend any accredited, post-secondary educational institution.
**Scholarships are awarded in five (5) categories
Open to current college or vocational students and to high school students entering college in the upcoming year. Full-time graduate and law school students also eligible. Applicants do not have to be U.S. citizens to be eligible but do have to attend U.S.-based institutions. Applicants for all awards must be atheists and must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher in academic subjects. All races, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations are encouraged to apply.

about APF Roy Scrivner Memorial Research Grants
$10,000 to support empirical research from all fields of the behavioral and social sciences on any topic related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender issues.
**Doctoral‐level researcher or graduate student
The scholarship was founded to uplift current (or future) API queer and trans community leaders. We will be awarding scholarships of $2,500 each to two API, lesbian, bisexual, or queer women or transgender individuals pursuing technical, professional, or trades certification or other tuition-based learning.
APIQWTC offers an award of $2,500 to an API lesbian, bisexual, or queer woman or non-binary/transgender individual pursuing an Associates of Science (AS) or Associate of Arts (AA) degree in a technical or trade career.
