The Barry H. Marshal Scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State University who have demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses and who advocate for or contribute to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community. Preference shall be given to students from New York State.
Established by graduate alumnus Brett Trager Kusman (College of Arts and Sciences, 2013), the Bernard M. Trager Family Foundation Scholarship for Equality will be awarded to a University of Louisville student who has need for ﬁnancial assistance. Strong consideration given to students who have shown passion for equal rights amongst the LGBTQ+ community.

Recipients must reside in the LCC district; be lesbian, bisexual, gay or transgender; be under the age of 25; and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to applicants who have prior involvement with a LBGT advocacy group.
Better Brothers LA supports students who have been admitted to or are attending an accredited degree, licensing, or vocational program. Scholarship funds are awarded to assist with tuition, purchasing textbooks and other study materials. The scholarships range from $500.00 to $5,000.00, and will be presented to recipients during the annual Better Brothers LA Truth Awards. Students may attend accredited educational or vocational programs anywhere in the country.

Annual award for member of BIGALA (Bi-sexual, Gay & Lesbian Alliance) who is a graduating high school senior accepted to Missouri State University in Missouri. Selection is based on high school performance, college potential as indicated by aptitude tests, and leadership qualities. Due date and award amount varies.
