The Human Rights Campaign is urging its California members and all Californians to vote no on recall by September 14th. HRC stands with Equality California and the long list of California elected leaders and LGBTQ+ champions who have opposed the effort to recall Governor Gavin Newsom. This effort to recall Governor Newsom would stall all of the great progress that has been made for LGBTQ+ Californians and we cannot afford to stop now.
Ballots have been mailed to all California voters - so look out for yours to arrive soon! Pledge to vote NO on Recall by September 14th.
Ballots must be postmarked by September 14th or returned in-person or at a ballot drop box by 8pm on September 14th. Please be sure to place your ballot in the return envelope, seal it and sign and date the back of the envelope. You can find your early voting and ballot drop-off locations here.
HRC has communities all over the US, each with initiatives and events based on local priorities for LGBTQ+ rights and equality. See California’s communities below and discover how you can get involved.
