Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people do not have full equality in this country — and the rights that we do have are being stripped away at lightning speed … More than 525 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced in 41 states this year alone, and more than 75 have become law. We are living in a state of emergency.
In a radical decision, the Supreme Court has issued a ruling in the 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis case. This unprecedented decision will have sweeping and harmful impacts on the LGBTQ+ community and is a dangerous step backwards.

Pride is about centering our defiant joy. It’s about marching and dancing and singing in the streets — despite those who trying to silence. It’s about celebrating all of the beautiful identities that make our movement stronger. It’s about visibility. It’s about telling the stories — loud and proud — of the battles we are still fighting today for our LGBTQ+ community. We have so much more work to do before we can truly celebrate pride without exception.
