The Queens of the Castro invite you to apply for a $1000 scholarship for a post-secondary opportunity of your choice (college, vocational education, career or other) in an effort to recognize your dedication to the LGBTQ community. We are seeking applicants who identify as members of the LGBTQ community. At some point in your high school career, you should have demonstrated a commitment to raising awareness about LGBTQ issues, combating homophobia and/or bullying or educating your community about similar topics. **All high school seniors in California may apply. Winners will be invited to an award ceremony in June. *Check back in Summer 2023 regarding future dates/deadlines

The purpose of the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber Foundation Scholarship Award is to motivate and assist Greater Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ and allied students in pursuing and completing an educational degree or vocational certificate. **Amador/Butte/Calaveras/Colusa/El Dorado/Nevada/Placer/Plumas/Sacramento/San Joaquin/Sierra/Solano/Stanislaus/Sutter/Tuolumne/Yolo/Yuba counties; field related to healthcare or medical study **Deadline likely in June

Finalists will be selected based on the following criteria: Life experiences, history of involvement with the LGBTQ+ community or in related issues and activities, and quality of written expression. The Daniel C. Orey Equity Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to students at Sacramento State.

Applicants must identify as Black Womxn, must be 18+, must be a California resident, and must be actively enrolled as a full-time or part-time student during the award period. We encourage women from all age demographics , gender expressions, sexual orientations, national origins, abilities, intellectual and developmental stages, and religions to apply.

The Cal Pride Scholarship is a one-year, merit-based award that recognizes Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors and incoming transfer students for academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement, as well as their contribution to the LGBTQ community. Previous recipients of the Cal Pride Scholarship are not eligible to re-apply.
