Celebrate Pride With Us: We Show Up

Our community is strongest when we all come together. We Show Up - Louder With Pride.

The LGBTQ+ community has always been resilient in the face of adversity. From Stonewall to the Supreme Court, we have united with our allies to secure the rights we all deserve. In 2024, as we celebrate the progress we’ve achieved, we are also reminded why it’s more important than ever to join together as a community. When we show up, we win.

During Pride Month and beyond, we must keep in mind what is at stake. From defeating anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in state houses to championing pro-equality elected officials, the future of our community is on the line. At the same time, we must celebrate the joy, resilience, and beauty that LGBTQ+ people showcase every day. We Show Up Louder with Pride because we will not be erased.

Beyond Pride: Reflecting on Our Past, Advocating for A Better Future

The choice about where we go from this moment forward has never been clearer. We cannot go backward. We must move boldly forward. We must ensure that while celebrating Pride and the anniversaries of our hard-fought gains, we stay focused on the battles ahead. Learn how we do this together from Kelley Robinson, HRC's President.

Support Your Local Affinity Prides!

Affinity Prides are celebrations centered around the experiences of intersectional identities within the LGBTQ+ community. Events such as Black Prides, Latine Prides, Trans Prides, and more, are important for providing a space intended to celebrate the specific progress of these communities and for sharing solidarity with those who face similar barriers and experiences at an intersection of multiple marginalized identities.

We encourage all to support these Prides as well, uplift those spaces, share the events, and contribute to the community based organizations and nonprofits who do the good work towards helping make these spaces exist for us.
