Nike Launches Powerful “EQUALITY” Campaign

Last night during the GRAMMYs, Nike unveiled a new video promoting equality in sports.

Last night during the GRAMMYs, Nike unveiled a new video promoting equality in sports. The video features Serena Williams, LeBron James, Victor Cruz and openly gay professional soccer player Megan Rapinoe, among others. The powerful video says, “Equality should have no boundaries.”

Last year during the Olympics, Nike released a groundbreaking ad featuring Chris Mosier, a transgender duathlete, who was chosen for Team USA for the 2016 World Championship. 

Nike also changed their profile photos across social to a black image with one word in white: Equality. 

Nike is an industry leader in the fight for LGBTQ equality, earning top marks on HRC’s Corporate Equality Index for over a decade, supporting marriage equalityspeaking out against discriminatory legislation and supporting the Equality Act.
