HRC Joins First-Ever National Trans Visibility March and Rally

by Curtis Clinch

HRC joined advocates and allies in Washington, D.C., for the first-ever National Trans Visibility March and Rally.

HRC was proud to join advocates and allies in Washington, D.C., for the first-ever National Trans Visibility March and Rally. It’s essential to unite as a community and rally alongside our transgender siblings as we all fight to be visible, respected and equally protected under the law.

HRC is dedicated to working with our partners to combat the hate and hold elected leaders accountable until every transgender person is safe and free to be who they are.

We will honor the victims murdered due to hate and senseless violence by taking action and demanding change.

How We’ll Make Change and Blaze the Path for Full Equality:

  • Increase Employment Opportunities: Ensure trans communities are economically empowered with employment opportunities and training.
  • Pass Laws: Work with local law enforcement and legislators to pass and enforce inclusive policies.
  • Raise Awareness: Educate our community including families and faith communities.
  • Empower Communities of Color: Address the disparities facing trans people of color and fight to eliminate inequalities.
