Funds four $1,500 scholarships for continuing UC Berkeley students who have demonstrated leadership in the LGBT community and have a strong record of academic excellence, volunteerism and achievement.

We have two scholarships available at $4,000/each for each cohort. If you belong to any group that is underrepresented in technology and you have been accepted to study at Turing, we invite you to apply. *Deadline varies by cohort

This scholarship has been established to provide academic financial support for an undergraduate Temple student active in the LGBTQ community. Preference shall be given to students with financial need, but active leadership and advocacy for LGBTQ causes is paramount.*Winners selected annually

Temple University (TU) this fund provides scholarships for students who have been effective advocates for gay and lesbian causes.

For Asian/Pacific Islander youth, self-identified as LGBT with demonstrated involvement in the LGBT community. This scholarship is to help LGBT youth proudly achieve educational pursuits and dreams without shame. These scholarships are renewable for a maximum of three additional years (for a total of four years), provided each student annually meets the renewal requirements.**Awards up to four outstanding students annually

The Susan Cruz Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to LGBTQ+ youth engaged in higher education. The fund honors the memory of Susan Cruz, a devoted homemaker and mother of six who always found time to attend college classes in pursuit of her ultimate goal: becoming a teacher. She ultimately fulfilled her dream, earning her bachelor’s degree at the same time her oldest child earned his. Applicants of all majors and disciplines are encouraged to apply.

The Samara Fund (Samara) is a community-directed fund that helps ensure lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) Vermonters are connected, healthy, appreciated, safe, and empowered.

The Rainbow STEM Alliance (RSA) exists to promote acceptance and inclusion of LGBTQ+ youth in STEM educational fields or auxiliary fields that have direct interactions with STEM groups. We fully support the mission of FIRST and believe that promoting acceptance and inclusion is an essential part of engaging young people in STEM fields.

2 eligible recipients with a relationship to the LGBTQ+ community are invited to apply; this means LGBTQ-identified, ally, or family and/or friend of LGBTQ-individuals. It is also mandatory that recipients be present at the event when the scholarships are awarded.
