This scholarship is awarded to a UCSD LGBTQIA+ student based on academic merit and financial need.

This scholarship is awarded to UCSD LGBTQIA+ students based on academic merit, who have made significant contribution to the LGBTQIA+ community. Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need. Financial need students must be receiving financial aid.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual students. Significant experience with issues related to sexual orientation, romantic attraction, gender identity, and/or gender expression.

LGBTQIA+ students with significant experience with issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity.

Hard science major (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) with a minimum GPA of a overall 2.50 GPA and a 3.00 in their major; have demonstrated financial need, are a self-identified member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

For LGBTQIA students. Science major with a minimum GPA of 3.0; have demonstrated financial need, are a member of the LGBT community; and have academic, campus, or community leadership experience. Preference shall be given to students attending Revelle College.

The scholarship is for enrolled UC San Diego undergraduates who actively support the LGBTQIA+ community and major in computer science, computer engineering, public policy, communications, or other programs that touch on networked systems. In addition to receiving a scholarship, recipients have an opportunity to carry out guided research under the direction of one of the center’s faculty mentors.
