Hard science major (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) with a minimum GPA of a overall 2.50 GPA and a 3.00 in their major; have demonstrated financial need, are a self-identified member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual students. Active involvement in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community. Preference given to students with demonstrated financial need.

The scholarship is for enrolled UC San Diego undergraduates who actively support the LGBTQIA+ community and major in computer science, computer engineering, public policy, communications, or other programs that touch on networked systems. In addition to receiving a scholarship, recipients have an opportunity to carry out guided research under the direction of one of the center’s faculty mentors.

At least one $1,000 scholarship recipient annually. Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, personal merit, and their contributions to the LGBTQIA community. *Deadline TBD, likely in April

An emergency funding source for UCR students in good standing who have been cut off financially from their families because of their sexual orientation, gender, perceived orientation or gender, or work with the LGBT community. University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) - (1) Lambda Alumni Scholarship - Each year, the UCLA Lambda Alumni Association awards at least one 4-year $1,000/year scholarship (for incoming freshman students) or 2-year $1,000/year scholarship (for incoming transfer students). (2) Lambda Alumni Outstanding Student Scholarship - Lambda has also historically awarded one or two awards to continuing or graduating LGBTQ or ally undergraduate students each year.

University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Undergraduate scholarships for full-time undergraduate students, preference to those who are committed to LGBTQIA leadership and have shown a commitment to community service.

This merit scholarship provides financial assistance to students currently enrolled at UCI who identify as part of the lesbian gay bisexual and transgender community and participate in the activities of the UCI LGBT Resource Center.

Support for students in any majors who identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and are engaged in leadership roles promoting civil rights for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
