WSOS is the first public-private scholarship program dedicated to building lasting pathways to secondary education and high-demand STEM and trade careers for all Washington students. We accelerate equitable change for historically excluded students and increase the local talent pool for Washington businesses.  While not specifically for LGBTQ+ people, it's an inclusive scholarship for students in WA state studying STEM, health care, and trade fields

The Dorothy Fillmore Scholarship supports full-time degree-seeking VCU students who are the first in their family to attend college and/or who have been financially separated from their families’ support. To be eligible, applicants must be actively engaged with the LGBTQ+ community.

Awards students who provide volunteer leadership to LGBT organizations on campus. Candidate must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be a sophomore, junior or senior, or graduate student at the time of application.

University of Wisconsin La Crosse (UWL) - This scholarship was established by the Pride Center and Rainbow Unity students in 2013 to assist lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally students (LGBTQQIAA) who are interested in studying abroad.

University of Wisconsin (UW) Madison - This scholarship is intended to encourage students who pursue LGBTQ+ Studies. It is generously provided by David A Kaplan and Glenn A Ostergaard, the Brautigam/Kaplan Foundation.

University of Wisconsin (UW) Madison - Students must be incoming first-year and transfer (new) students with interest in learning more about gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ resources at UW-Madison; ideally as indicated on the request for information (RFI) form.

Established in 2005 with a $50,000 challenge gift from the late John A. Herring (a former Newcomb Hall director), the Fund which was matched subsequently through individual gifts in five years, and was first awarded in 2011 to Marcus Hall, College ’12.

The Jeffrey L. Reider and Charles F. Otis Endowed Prize annually provides a one-time scholarship award of up to $5,000 to a student of any sexual orientation who has demonstrated a willingness to advance the rights and acceptance of the LGBTQ community. Activity in music and the arts will also be considered.
