Sponsored by the JSU LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter, the LGBT Scholarship is open to a deserving first-time, continuing, or graduate student at Jacksonville State University who is dedicated to diversity and inclusion and shows characteristics of someone who supports the LGBT community through involvement in clubs, organizations, volunteerism, and/or activism. A cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 for undergraduate students and a 3.0 for graduate students, based on a 4.0 scale, is required.

Tuition scholarships are awarded in amounts of $5,000 and $10,000 to gay men who live in the five-county Philadelphia region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties) and Camden County, who are matriculated in a degree program at an accredited college, graduate, or professional school. *Deadline likely in November

Pacific or UoP, offers a scholarship to a gay and lesbian civil rights advocate open to at least a second year law student with demonstrated financial need who exhibits academic ability and leadership potential. Provides support to one or more students who are committed to using their legal education to extend and protect the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people.Demonstrated commitment to the furtherance of LGBTQ+ rights; at least a second-year student in the fall semester; demonstrated academic ability; and financial need.

This scholarship was created to provide financial support for a college-bound high school graduate who displays leadership toward LGBTQ equality. Candidates must identify as LGBTQ or as allies and must reside in Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Sullivan or Ulster County. We will be awarding 10 participants up to $500.

If you are an undergraduate student and you have been cut off from financial support from your family because you have revealed to them a sexual orientation or gender identity of which they disapprove, you may qualify for this scholarship in order to reach your educational goals. This unique form of funding is available for either the fall or the spring semester and applications have no deadline. **Rolling deadline

The Walter J. Allen and Shaun B. Keister Scholarship is open to undergraduate (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) and graduate students who have demonstrated leadership and involvement in the LGBTQIA+ community at Iowa State University.

The fund was established to benefit gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students pursuing post-secondary education at a central Ohio college or university or Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio.
