The Queens of the Castro invite you to apply for a $1000 scholarship for a post-secondary opportunity of your choice (college, vocational education, career or other) in an effort to recognize your dedication to the LGBTQ community. We are seeking applicants who identify as members of the LGBTQ community. At some point in your high school career, you should have demonstrated a commitment to raising awareness about LGBTQ issues, combating homophobia and/or bullying or educating your community about similar topics. **All high school seniors in California may apply. Winners will be invited to an award ceremony in June.

*One application = several scholarships. The Prism Foundation provides scholarships ranging from $1,000-$5,000 to empower outstanding students who are making a positive impact on the Asian & Pacific Islander and LGBTQ+ communities.

The Point Foundation Community College Scholarship is open to LGBTQ community college students who are enrolled or intending to enroll part-time (at least six credits) or full-time at an accredited community college or university based in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, in the fall of 2022.

about PLNU Diversity Leadership Scholarship
The Phoenix Pride Scholarship Program is a charitable program to provide scholarships to High school seniors, current college students, and adult re-entry students in our community who identify as LGBTQ+ and our allies attending any type of FAFSA accredited postsecondary school. The funds for this program are administered by the Arizona Community Foundation. Since its inception in 2005 (created by Linda Hoffman), the Phoenix Pride Scholarship Fund has awarded $490,500 in scholarships. In 2023 we are slated to award $53,000 in scholarships.
The Phoenix Pride Scholarship Program continues to be supported by contributions from Phoenix Pride and community members who are committed to expanding the educational opportunities for the LGBTQ+ and ally community. The program is currently seeking to increase partnerships with philanthropic individuals, corporations, organizations, and foundations to raise scholarship funding for LGBTQ+ and ally students in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
about Phoenix Pride Scholarship Program
The Gamma Mu Scholarships Program provides support to gay men who want to further their education at a college, university, or vocational or professional training program. In addition, effective 2016, the Gamma Mu Scholarship Program will award one scholarship annually (“The Folisi & Goodwin Scholarship in Memory of Ray Williams”) to a student from the broader LGBT community. These programs support a wide range of educational options, including vocational and technical training, associate, bachelors and graduate degrees. The Foundation will not fund online education degree programs. Scholarships are offered for full-time study beginning at an accredited institution or program of the student's choice.
The PFund Foundation awards scholarships to LGBTQIA+ individuals for their commitment to leadership within their communities.
