This award is to acknowledge those students who have advanced the SJSU LGBTQ+ community through their involvement, service, advocacy, and/or research.

Applicant must be a senior in a Maine high school who has been accepted to any institution of higher learning. Cover letter (with applicant's name, address, phone number, name of high school, and name of higher educational institution that they are planning to attend), two letters of recommendation, a copy of acceptance letter from the selected institution of higher education, and essay answering a specified question.

Suncoast Developers Guild seeks to narrow the gaps in our industry by introducing local companies to diverse talent. We offer a scholarship of $1,900 to members of communities that are underrepresented in technology.

A total of $10,000 may be awarded. Up to three scholarships of varying sizes may be available for students of any North Carolina accredited high school in the Sandhills region which includes the following counties: Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, or Scotland counties in North Carolina. One scholarship totaling $5,000 and two additional scholarships of $2,500 may be available. The $5,000 Scholarship is paid out over multiple years as follows: Year 1: $2,500, Year 2: $2,500. The Laurie McBride Scholarship offers a full scholarship for a junior or senior with a declared major within SSIS. The scholarship is named for long-time LGBTQ lobbyist and activist Laurie McBride.
