Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) introduced a discharge petition to require a vote on H. Res. 774 to set forth the rules for a debate and vote on four immigration bills, including the opportunity to vote on the Dream Act.
The discharge petition did not receive the 218 signatures needed to force a vote on H. Res. 774 and the four immigration bills. The petition had 216 signatures: Democrats 193; Republicans 23.
