The Family Violence Prevention Services Improvement Act updates the Family Violence and Prevention Services program which funds emergency shelters and supports related assistance for victims of domestic violence. It also includes an important LGBTQ-inclusive non-discrimination provision as well as providing grants that are culturally appropriate to underserved groups.
