Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Levis Promote Marriage Equality in the Store Front Window Displays
Washington– Three of the world’s biggest names in fashion, Kate Spade, Michael Kors and Levis, are featuring new storefront window displays for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) – the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization – and its “New Yorkers for Marriage Equality Campaign."
“The fashion business is a $55 billion a year industry in New York,” said HRC York Senior Strategist Brian Ellner. “With three of the industry’s biggest names coming out in support of our marriage equality campaign, it’s clear that equality and fairness are absolutely part of the New York brand.”
