With only one week until the most important election of our lifetime, HRC is rolling out a new tool for Equality Voters across the country to celebrate exercising their most important right: the right to vote.

Using HRC’s newly unveiled Facebook profile frame, users can tell their friends and family that they voted for pro-equality candidates.

Most states allow voters the opportunity to cast a ballot in an early voting period prior to Election Day, so Equality Voters in those states can begin utilizing the profile frames before November 6.

The benefits of this new tool are twofold. By using the profile frame, Equality Voters not only celebrate using their right to vote, but it also reminds others of the critical upcoming election and increases voter turnout.

Updating your profile photo is easy — simply go to your profile page and click “Edit” or “Update” on your profile photo. Then select “Add Frame” and search “I Voted 2018.” Drag to reposition your photo and select “Use as Profile Picture” and you’re all set. You can then save this photo with the frame and upload it as your Twitter profile photo.

The estimated 10 million LGBTQ voters across the nation have proven to be one of the most important voting blocs in the nation. And with support for LGBTQ equality at historic heights, HRC has used sophisticated analytics to identify and mobilize 52 million “Equality Voters” nationwide who support LGBTQ-inclusive policies including marriage equality, equitable family law and laws that would prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.

When we vote, we win.
