The Pride – Pride Alliance Scholarship Award is for Cal Poly Pomona students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 who have had leadership involvement, and have been involved in the LGBT community.

The CA LGBTQ Foundation Scholarship was established to help LGBTQ+ Californians, and their allies, achieve their dreams through higher education.

The Carter Stroupe Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to celebrating and supporting the continuing education for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ allied students who exhibit courage and leadership in their schools and communities. The scholarship is funded by individual donations and the PFLAG Greensboro Carter Stroupe Memorial Scholarship Endowment. We express our appreciation to the Guilford Green Foundation for their initial donation and assistance with starting the endowment and to the many individuals who have donated to the endowment.Scholarship Information The PFLAG Greensboro Carter Stroupe Memorial Scholarship is awarded in amounts up to $2,000.The money must be used toward educational expenses.Awards will be distributed to the recipient's school upon receipt of a letter of acceptance and verification of enrollment. Eligibility Be a resident of Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph or Alamance County, North Carolina.Be applying to attend, or currently attending a technical/vocational program pursuing certification and/or a college or university pursuing an undergraduate college degree;

Offers Departmental Scholarships each year to an LGBTQI2+ student who maintains a strong commitment to community service and political activism. For publicly identified lesbians, gay men, or bisexuals.

The Charlotte Pride Scholarship aims to improve economic mobility for LGBTQ and ally college students from the Charlotte metro area by funding college scholarships.**Students from NC/SC Charlotte Metro area

The scholarship is for an Arlington resident pursuing a career or technical education accredited program, within a high-growth career, that will be completed within two years. The scholarship is worth up to $20,000. It is available to recent high school graduates and non-traditional students. FAFSA is required to apply. See the attached flyer for more details.

Fellowship Award is to be given annually to a graduate student, an academic, or an independent scholar for work on a dissertation, a first book manuscript, or a second book manuscript contributing to the field of LGBTQ studies.

A student paper competition open to all graduate students enrolled in the CUNY system. A cash prize is awarded to the best paper written in a graduate class on any topic related to LGBTQ+ experiences **Occurs yearly

Sylvia Rivera Award in Transgender Studies, which honors the memory of Rivera, a transgender activist, will be given for the best book or article to appear in transgender studies this past year.
