Equidad/e Programs

Our Equidad/e programs, inspired by HRC’s annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI), were established to grow and promote LGBTQ+ inclusion among companies and U.S. multinationals in Latin America.

We help employers build more LGBTQ+ inclusive workplaces, assessing their policies and practices through an annual survey. Businesses that meet the mark earn the HRC Foundation's designation of "Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality"—or "Mejores Lugares Para Trabajar LGBTQ+"—recognizing their progress toward true inclusion.

In 2016 and 2018, HRC brought its workplace equality expertise to Mexico and Chile, adapting its approach to each country's social and cultural context. In 2021, the HRC Foundation expanded this work across Latin America to include Argentina and Brazil.
