HRC PAC Celebrates Chris Pappas’ History-Making Senate Primary Victory

CONCORD — Today, Human Rights Campaign PAC-endorsed candidate U.S. Rep Chris Pappas of New Hampshire prevailed in the Granite State’s primary to be the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate. Pappas, the state’s first openly LGBTQ+ Member of Congress who is looking to become the first openly gay U.S. Senator, ran on a platform of service to all Granite Staters and has been a staunch defender of the LGBTQ+ community. 

A longtime champion of equality, Chris has earned HRC PAC's support throughout his career in public service. This cycle, HRC President Kelley Robinson joined organizers and volunteers on the ground to help ensure Equality Voters turned out and made their voices heard.

Equality Voters — including the more than 300,000 in New Hampshire — are a powerful and diverse voting bloc united by support for LGBTQ+ equality. Equality Voters are younger, more racially diverse, and more female than the general electorate, and they recognize and trust the HRC brand.
