Spring 2022

Amid attacks from extremist groups, threatening LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights, we are coming together to share our message of resilience and resistance. HRC is fighting back against this legalized discrimination by advocating in the streets, litigating in the courts, and educating in schools across the country.

To help us celebrate Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May and Pride Month in June, HRC partnered with Lehuauakea (they/them), an interdisciplinary artist who identifies as māhū mixed-Native Hawaiian. Their artistic exploration of culture and cultural folklore and their undeniable and intricate ties to native lands and intersectional identities provide our observances with an intentional way of elevating AANHPI communities.
