The election is in 92 days. Unite for equality. Like never before.

While we continue to practice social distancing around the world, the traditions and cultures we observe should still be celebrated by those in the community. The Human Rights Campaign will join Muslims for Progressive Values and other leaders in the Muslim community for a virtual Iftar, Remaining Home in Faith: Virtual Iftar, on Wednesday, May 20 to recognize the end of Ramadan. Iftar is the evening meal at which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast. This virtual event will provide a space for LGBTQ and allied Muslims to participate in the breaking of their daily fast and hear a dialogue about LGBTQ inclusion in the Muslim community.

Remaining Home in Faith: Virtual Iftar is the third in HRC’s Remaining Home in Faith series. The virtual faith services are a continuation of HRC’s “Coming Home to Faith: A Search for Common Ground” tour, with a goal of building bridges and strengthening the ties between the faith and LGBTQ communities.
