In honor of civil rights pioneer Marsha P. Johnson, these ten scholarships are dedicated to undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated civic leadership to the LGBTQ community through service, research, advocacy, or other contributions that protect and promote human dignity.

The Otterbein application serves as the application for Otterbein-endowed scholarships that are awarded through the admission process. **Same as application for university admission, all applicants considered **Renewable for 8 semesters or first Undergraduate degree, 2.75 GPA required for renewal

Out for Education (OFE) recognizes outstanding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, plus (LGBTQ+) students and contributes toward their college education. This scholarship program celebrates the achievements of the Houston, TX residents who are worthy of our support.

Applicant must be a senior at a high school who has been accepted into an institution of higher education with the intention to enroll in the Fall. Applicant must identify as LGBTQ or an LGBTQ ally. The John Reinert Scholarship award is for individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ who are pursuing a career in law enforcement by attending a basic law enforcement training program. This could be a basic police academy, sheriff’s academy, corrections academy, or 9-1-1 dispatcher academy. We believe that one of the best ways of eliminating homophobia in law enforcement is by having positive and visible role models from the LGBT community serving in ranks of the law enforcement profession. **Announced in June and December annually, students attending a law enforcement academy

The purpose of this grant program is to help local law enforcement agencies create and successfully launch a new LGBT Law Enforcement Liaison Program.
