WASHINGTON – The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, today congratulated Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy on his re-election. Marty Rouse, HRC’s National Field Director, issued the following statement:
“Governor Malloy has been an outstanding advocate for fairness and equality in Connecticut, and we are thrilled he will be able to continue that leadership. We congratulate him on a well-fought campaign and look forward to continuing to work with him on issues of importance to equality and LGBT people in Connecticut.”
The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. HRC envisions a world where LGBT people are embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.
