HRC and Macy’s Partner in Celebration of National Pride Month

WASHINGTON – The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) – the nation’s largest LGBT civil rights organization – is celebrating the launch of a partnership with Macy’s in honor of National Pride Month. The retailer will feature new HRC merchandise at select locations including Macy's Beverly Center (Los Angeles, CA), Easton (Columbus, OH), Fountain Place (Cincinnati, OH), Downtown Minneapolis, Union Square (San Francisco, CA), and West County (St. Louis, MO), throughout the month of June which is LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) Pride Month. HRC’s Everyone – Everywhereand ‘I Stand On the Right Side of Historymerchandise will be prominently displayed on t-shirts, hats and accessories throughout stores and one hundred percent of the proceeds will go towards HRC’s fight for equality.

Macy’s is one of HRC's National Corporate Partners and has consistently rated highly on the HRC Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index, the national standard in evaluating policies, practices and diversity efforts relating to LGBT workers. The Index considers non-discrimination policies, benefits, diversity training and other internal resources for LGBT workers, as well as external support for LGBT consumers and job seekers.
