HRC Mississippi held its quarterly Drag Bingo Event hosted by Jackson’s very own “Miss Catastrophe” on April 19. HRC Mississippi Director Rob Hill gave remarks on the work to pass the Equality Act. Hill spoke about how the local community can organize in order to support and build public awareness of the bill.

More than 100 members, supporters and volunteers came to support LGBTQ equality with six rounds of bingo, four drag performances, great food and tons of prizes. HRC Mississippi is grateful to our Volunteer Leadership Committee for helping to organize this engaging event.

HRC Mississippi is committed to fighting for equality across the Magnolia State and creating inclusive, affirming, and safe spaces for LGBTQ Mississippians. This event was an important reminder of the power of the love and support of local community.
