💗💜💙 HRC CELEBRATES BISEXUAL VISIBILITY DAY: Every year on September 23, Bi Visibility Day celebrates bisexual, pansexual, queer and fluid people, and provides an opportunity to lift up our stories and accomplishments. More from HRC.

TV NEWS STOPPED COVERING ANTI-TRANS VIOLENCE AFTER PRIDE MONTH: According to research released by Media Matters for America, TV news stations reported on anti-trans violence for a combined total of only 29 minutes in June, which is LGBTQ Pride month, and then failed to report on the topic in July or August. UK GOVERNMENT DROPS GENDER SELF-IDENTIFICATION PLAN FOR TRANS PEOPLE: UK LGBTQ advocacy organization Stonewall (@stonewalluk) condemned the move. Their chief executive Nancy Kelley (@Nancy_M_K) stated: “Today, the UK government has fallen far short on its promise to reform the Gender Recognition Act, and has missed a key opportunity to progress LGBT equality.” More from The Guardian.
