HRC's Summer of Action begins the weekend of June 10 and 11, which coincides with the National Equality March in Washington, D.C. HRC will also organize and encourage its supporters to participate in the #ResistMarch in Los Angeles, DC Capital Pride, and other Pride celebrations and Equality Marches nationwide.

At our headquarters in Washington, HRC will host an Action and Resource Center, giving supporters concrete ways to take action and resist in their own communities -- including sending  letters to Congress and the Trump Administration, learning more about how HRC is fighting for LGBTQ equality, and creating custom rally signs ahead of Sunday’s Equality March.

The Action and Resource Center will be open Friday, June 9, from 12 - 9 p.m.; Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday, June 11, from 7 a.m. - 12 p.m..

Supporters from across the country are also invited to participate in HRC’s 90-minute Summer of Action grassroots organizing training sessions. Each specially tailored trainings will walk participants through the current LGBTQ equality landscape, detail best practices for engaging with elected officials, highlight how to participate in resistance events across the country, and provide guidance on how to make a difference using social media.

Those interested in attending one of the four trainings offered on Saturday, June 10, at 10 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:15 p.m. can RSVP here. Trainings will be offered at a location near HRC headquarters and also made available online later for supporters not able to attend. Questions should be directed to Deputy National Field Director Jeremy Pittman at jeremy.pittman@hrc.org.

HRC will also be hosting a Pop-up Store that will be open the same hours as the Action and Resource Center, as well on Monday, June 12, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.. You may also purchase HRC gear online at HRC.org/Shop.
