Stephanie Osborn

Stephanie Osborn joined HRC as Chief Operating Officer in 2024 and has leadership responsibility for the internal infrastructure that powers our work to achieve LGBTQ+ equality. She has more than 20 years of financial, administrative, and programmatic leadership experience in national non-profit organizations. The team that Stephanie leads at HRC includes finance, human resources, data and technology, operations and security.

Before joining HRC, Stephanie served as Chief Operating Officer at the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, working to win economic equity for women, and at the National League of Cities where she spent nine years in membership and operational roles and developed a passion for defending liberal democracy. Throughout her career in the nonprofit sector, Stephanie has prioritized strategic, stable, and transparent leadership. She graduated from the University of Virginia and earned an executive certificate in Nonprofit Management from Northwestern University.
