HRC Honors Transgender Military Service Members
On June 30, 2016, the Department of Defense finally announced an end to the ban on transgender people serving openly in our military. In the weeks just before this historic announcement, HRC sat down with Retired U.S. Army Colonel Sheri Swokowski, who is openly transgender, about what this change would mean for the Department of Defense and transgender service members worldwide.
