Otterbein LGBTQ+ Scholarship
Otterbein University awards the Otterbein LGBTQ+ Scholarship to 1 entering first-year student each year. The award is $1,000 and is renewable for up to 4 years. Students who apply by December 15th are sent a link to a scholarship questionnairethat allows them to be selected for consideration for endowed scholarships based on individual traits. For this scholarship, students provide a short answer to teh question "How was your experience as a LGBTQIA+ person informed your education, individual goals or aspirations?"

The Pride Scholarship
Welcoming students LGBTQ-identified, ally, family and/or friend of LGBTQ-individuals to apply. The Pride Scholarship is for Ohio resident students between 17-25, seeking scholarship for any university, community college, technical or art school or para-professional program.

PFLAG Sandusky/ Firelands
Two scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors in the amount of $500 and $250. Applicants must write an essay on, "Tolerance in Their Community." Because of the generosity of a member who recently passed away, we named the fund The Liz Rochester Memorial Scholarship Fund.

PFLAG Cincinnati
PFLAG Cincinnati has an extensive scholarship program. Since the program's inception in 1992, PFLAG Cincinnati has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to over 80 talented and deserving gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight-supportive college students. Information on the program and application forms are available on athttp://www.pflagcinci.org/. The awards are for higher education but students may apply while still in high school. Applicants must be a resident of or attending college in the Greater Cincinnati area, be 17 years old by April 1st, and have proven record of positive involvement with the GLBT community. Applicants must not be a prior winner of this award and must submit an application with required supporting materials.

Cleveland Youth Leadership Initiative
Dare2Care’s student/teacher leadership opportunity is part of an initiative by Dare2Care designed to support new and courageous conversations around, gender, sex, diverse identities, respectful communities, and discrimination. The leadership program is fully-funded, (including travel and accommodation), and provides 4 students and 2 teachers with the chance to develop their leadership skills in a creative, challenging, and culturally diverse environment.

OSU Sexuality Studies Essay Competition
The Sexuality Studies Scholarship Essay Competition is open to undergraduate students who are pursuing the Sexuality Studies Minor, with preference given to those who identify as LGBT. The award is $250 or more, to be applied toward tuition and fees.
