  • Dr. Ronald G. Morrow Scholarship- Western Carolina

    Entering or continuing graduate students studying in Community and Therapeutic Recreation, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Kinesiology, or Public Health Education, with intention to conduct research in the area of diversity, specifically issues related to sexual orientation (i.e., homophobia, heterosexism, safe/hate-free environments, pedagogical strategies and/or women's health and wellness) are eligible to apply.

  • Catawba Valley Pride Scholarship

    Catawba Valley Pride is pleased to be offering a scholarship for academic year 2014-2015. The scholarship funds $500 to a Catawba, Burke, Caldwell, Alexander, Iredell or Lincoln County resident and must be either a student who is LGBT or a straight ally. The applicant must demonstrate service to the LGBT community or a desire to serve the LGBT community. The applicant must be a high school senior.

  • PFLAG Greensboro Carter Stroupe Memorial Scholarship

    PFLAG Greensboro has established the Carter Stroupe Memorial Scholarship. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually in the spring. An applicant must be a resident of Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph, or Alamance County in North Carolina and must be either a student who is GLBT or a straight ally. The applicant must demonstrate service to the LGBT community or a desire to serve the LGBT community. The applicant must be a high school senior or an undergraduate college student.

  • PFLAG Salisbury/ Rowan

    PFLAG Salisbury/Rowan will award two (2) $1000 scholarships each spring. The first scholarship is the Anne Stanback-Charlotte Kinlock Scholarship, awarded to a GLBT student. The recipient must be a student from Rowan County. Named for Anne Stanback, a Salisbury/Rowan County native and her partner of 24 years, Charlotte Kinlock. Anne is the Executive Director of Love Makes A Family in Hartford, CT and lobbies diligently for marriage equality. The second scholarship is the PFLAG Salisbury/Rowan Founder's Scholarship, named in honor of the founder of the chapter, Michael Clawson. This scholarship will be awarded to a straight ally student from Rowan County.
