  • The J. Tracy Hermann LGBTQ Center Youth Scholarship

    This scholarship was created to provide financial support for a college-bound high school graduate who displays leadership toward LGBTQ equality. Candidates must identify as LGBTQ or as allies and must reside in Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Sullivan or Ulster County.

  • Live Out Loud Annual Scholarship

    The Live Out Loud Annual Scholarship provides five $5,000 scholarships to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students who have shown exceptional leadership, courage, and achievement. The scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors in the tri-state area (NY, CT, NJ). Award selection is based on leadership and community service involvement. Students will be asked to submit a completed application, six short essays and two letters of recommendation. Finalists will be brought to our office for an interview. The deadline is in mid-March.

  • Sheldon Oppenheim Memorial Scholarship

    Funds students who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender and attend SUNY Rockland Community College.  Students should send an essay detailing any obstacles they may have overcome, their educational goals, any community service, or special circumstances and optional letters of recommendation.  The committee will give out up to four scholarships ranging from $250-$500 per year.

    This scholarship will support gay or lesbian students at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine, or direct descendents of Anna and Hyman Greenberg seeking the same degree.

  • Hudson Pride Foundation Scholarship

    The HPF scholarship award was created as a way to reward community involvement and encourage Columbia County students to pursue a college education. Each year, one Columbia County School District High School graduating senior, who has demonstrated a real commitment to promoting and supporting LGBT equal rights and made a positive difference in the LGBT community in some measurable way, will receive $1,000 for each year of college (up to 4 years). Scholarships are also available to previous winners who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or other post-secondary institution and has maintained a 3.0 GPA or better.
