Connecting Communities: A National LGBTQ Liaison Summit

OVERVIEW

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, in partnership with the City of Atlanta, is hosting our first Connecting Communities summit, a space for LGBTQ municipal liaisons and allied local officials from all around the country to learn about the most critical issues facing the LGBTQ community and what they can do to make positive change. This virtual conference will help equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to create positive change in their communities using the far-reaching tools of local government and will include workshops and panel discussions on local nondiscrimination laws and policies, creating economic opportunity, addressing anti-transgender violence in communities, vital municipal services for the transgender community and the importance of intersectionality.

In addition to a robust educational program, attendees will also hear from HRC President Alphonso David, Atlanta Mayor Kesha Lance Bottoms and to-be-announced special guests.
