REPORT FROM NYC MEDICAL EXAMINER -- TRANSGENDER WOMAN HELD IN SOLITARY AT RIKERS ISLAND DIED DUE TO SEIZURES CAUSED BY EPILEPSY: Says Layleen Polcano’s lawyer in a written statement yesterday, her epilepsy “was well-known to DOC and she suffered multiple seizures on Rikers. • While many Democrats boycotted the Trump event, Virginia Del. Danica Roem (@pwcdanica) says she chose to attend with Austyn Higgs, a trans woman of color and health care advocate from Richmond, to “have a presence to promote a narrative of inclusion and to counter the ‘vitriol and division’ going on at the national level,” reports the Prince William Times.

I wanted to do the same thing for others and pass it on.” More from HRC.
