🎨 HRC FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES “ARTISTS FOR EQUALITY” AUCTION TO SUPPORT WORK ADVANCING TRANSGENDER RIGHTS: The online auction will take place between September 30 - October 14 and feature artwork from more than 33 well-known artists.e The funds raised will benefit the HRC Foundation’s work to advance transgender rights. “The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is so grateful to these extraordinary visual artists for supporting our work advancing transgender justice,” said HRC Director of Community Engagement for the Transgender Justice Initiative Tori Cooper (@MsToriCooper1, she/her). “By raising funds for this critical work, ‘Artists for Equality’ demonstrates the power art really has to make a difference and save lives.” More from HRC.

TO HOST WORLD PRIDE 2025: Last week, the Capital Pride Alliance announced that it has submitted a bid to host 2025 World Pride, the international Pride event that draws thousands of participants from throughout the world to the host city. 💍 SWITZERLAND LEGALIZES SAME-SEX MARRIAGE: Yesterday, voters in Switzerland overwhelmingly decided to legalize same-sex marriage, making the country one of the last in Western Europe to do so.
