HATE CRIMES PREVENTION ACT: Today marks the 11th anniversary of the historic signing of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act. “The fight for our community’s safety is far from over,” said HRC President Alphonso David (@AlphonsoDavid). “We must replace the Trump-Pence administration and install true allies like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to continue the progress made with the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act.” More from HRC.
