EXPANDING LGBTQ INCLUSION WITHIN SEX EDUCATION: In a conversation between HRC Youth Ambassador Ash Silcott and Executive Director of the American School Health Association Jeanie Alter, Ash discussed their experience with sex education as a non-binary student to help others better understand challenges LGBTQ students face, and how sex ed can be improved to better educate and help all young people. WHAT DOES LGBTQ ACTIVISM LOOK LIKE IN THE AGE OF BIDEN?: With the Biden-Harris Administration in the White House, the atmosphere for LGBTQ political activists has shifted dramatically. “For the past four years we had a federal government that refused to acknowledge that LGBTQ people exist,” said HRC President Alphonso David (@AlphonsoDavid, he/him).
