#AM_Equality: Launch of Equality Act Coalition; Join HRC for a Bisexual+ Health Month Livestream today!

LGBTQ ADVOCACY GROUPS LAUNCH $4 MILLION COALITION TO PASS THE EQUALITY ACT: Sixteen LGBTQ and social justice groups, including HRC, have come together behind a lobbying and ad campaign aimed to pass the Equality Act. Said HRC President Alphonso David: “The Equality Act is a pivotal moment in history and serves to be one of the landmark civil rights moments in our country’s long march toward a more perfect union. We plan to work in coalition to end the discrimination, violence, and injustice that LGBTQ people live with every day and ensure that federal non-discrimination protections finally become the law of the land. The time to pass the Equality Act is now.” More from Axios.

PARK CITY STUDENTS FIGHT ONLINE FILTERS FOR LGBTQ SEARCHES: As a result of a new software update, students were unable to access LGBTQ content because it was blocked by filtering software that prevents access to inappropriate content on school-issued computers.
