HRC on Georgia’s primary election; Black Trans Lives Matter
HRC’S ALPHONSO DAVID ON YESTERDAY’S GEORGIA PRIMARY ELECTION: “What happened [yesterday] in Georgia is absolutely unacceptable and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger should be ashamed. Raffensperger needs to own this disaster, take stock of what went wrong and rectify it ahead of November -- Georgians deserve better.” said HRC President Alphonso David (@AlphonsoDavid). “Reports also show that communities of color bore the brunt of today’s issues. While Raffensperger’s intentions are unknown, we know that we must fight tooth and nail ahead of November to ensure that every voter has equitable access and the right to safely cast their ballot.” More from HRC.

We only speak out when [cisgender] Black men are being harmed or murdered.” More from Reuters.
