The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 3 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.


Jennifer Pike Bailey

Senior Public Policy Advocate

Jennifer Pike Bailey joined the Human Rights Campaign in 2012 and serves as HRC’s Senior Public Policy Advocate, where she works with Congress to advance pro-equality legislation. Her policy portfolio focuses on LGBTQ youth, including education, school climate, youth homelessness, sex education, and conversion therapy. She also handles HRC’s federal policy work regarding religious liberty, the military, veterans, and housing.

Prior to joining HRC, Jennifer worked on Capitol Hill. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Indiana University.
