MLK Day of Service in Cleveland
Join Us to Help LGBTQ Homeless Youth in Cleveland
Let's come together as a community to serve LGBT homeless youth on MLK Day of Service. Taking place on January 21st, MLK Day of Service is a "day on, not a day off." It is a way to transform Dr. King's life and teachings into community action to help bring together people, strengthen communities, and meet national challenges.
One such challenge is homelessness among LGBTQ youth, who make up to 40% of homeless and at-risk youth. HRC and partner organizations invite you to partner with us on a service project benefiting homeless and at-risk youth in your community, including LGBTQ youth. Many thanks to Movement in Black for also organizing a dance party for the youth served by the AIDS Task Force of Greater Cleveland and the LGBT Center of Cleveland on MLK Weekend.
How can YOU make a difference?
