Post submitted by Trevor Chandler, former HRC Associate Regional Field Director

With our new headquarters officially set up, the Oregon United for Marriage campaign held an office warming party in Portland to welcome the local community, amazing volunteers, and those interested in getting involved to our home for the next 14 months. Over the course of the night, visitors stopped by stations set up throughout the building to get trained on how to be petition gatherer, host a house party, and sign up for volunteer shifts.

Walking around the office visitors were able to look through our "Hallway of History," highlighting Oregon leaders who have made it possible to get to where we are today or post a picture on our 'Why
Marriage Matters' wall that will be helping give us all of us working on the campaign a reminder of exactly why we do what we do.

Feel free to come in yourself to get a tour of our office as well as sign up to volunteer as we make history one signature at a time. Our office is located at:

727 24th Ave.

Portland, OR 97232

Trevor Chandler is a Senior Regional Field Organizer with HRC, he is on the ground for the duration of the campaign working with the team at OUM to secure marriage equality for all Oregonians.
