April 2, 2013 by Maureen McCarty, HRC Associate Director of Digital Media
The NonProfit Times today named the Human Rights Campaign one of the top 50 best nonprofit organizations for which to work.
HRC ranked 34th on the list of the top 50 organizations, which included Wounded Warrior Project, Alzheimer’s Association and the American Councils for International Education.
The award is decided by both employee and Human Resource surveys, with 75% of the total score comes directly from employee satisfaction and 25% from HR.
"This is a great honor and testament to the initiatives, programs and efforts of the operations of HRC to enhance and improve the work environment for everyone," said John Greene, SPHR, Director of Human Resources for the Human Rights Campaign.
