THE FIRST OPENLY TRANS RECRUIT SIGNED CONTRACT TO JOIN THE MILITARY: The Pentagon yesterday confirmed that an unnamed, openly transgender recruit has signed a contract to join the military -- becoming the first to do so since the military began allowing out trans applicants to enter the Armed Forces on January 1.
