  • The Washington Post reports on the trial of two men accused of unleashing “sheer brutality” on the D.C. trans community, including fatally shooting Deeniquia “Dee Dee” Dodds, 22, in 2016. Prosecutors added hate crime enhancements to the charges against Cyheme Hall and Montee Tyree Johnson, saying the men targeted transgender women.
