Nick Morrow

Nick Morrow has used his on-the-ground experience in politics, his passion for progressive issues and his years of working on fast-paced issue campaigns to create and implement and manage comprehensive media strategies centered around today’s most pressing political issues.

Nick is deputy communications director at the Human Rights Campaign, working on the communications team to expand equality for everyone, everywhere. Nick is also responsible for the daily and long-term media planning for HRC’s state legislative efforts, and works to promote LGBTQ rights by utilizing a robust mix of traditional and innovative communications strategies.

Prior to HRC, Nick worked as a strategic communications consultant at SKDKnickerbocker, where he worked on high-profile political and public affairs clients, including some of the largest nonprofits, businesses and issue campaigns in the country. At SKDK, Nick was an integral part of the media relations team that successfully represented the Human Rights Campaign and plaintiff Jim Obergefell throughout the landmark marriage equality case, Obergefell v. Hodges, in 2015.

Nick received a Master’s degree in Global Communication from the George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee.
