Matilda Young is a communications professional with a strong commitment to public service and social justice. She currently serves as the Deputy Director for Executive Communications. Prior to joining the Human Rights Campaign, she worked for the federal government for 10 years, starting her career in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and a master of fine arts in Poetry from the University of Maryland.
