Gwen O'Hearn joined the Human Rights Campaign Foundation in 2022 and has assisted with the development and implementation of the Next Level Program since its inception.

Gwen holds a BS in Secondary Education – English from Northern Arizona University and has a background in teaching and learning design, having previously worked as a public middle school teacher.

In addition to their work on Next Level, Gwen manages the ongoing maintenance and content development for the WorthIt financial wellness platform and the HRC Foundation’s eLearning offerings. Gwen enjoys combining their interest in learning design with their passion for LGBTQ+ advocacy and hopes to effect positive culture change through education.
